URGENT PATIENT NOTICE
During the next few months in order to meet demand and ensure safe clinical practice, it is necessary to put in place the following measures:
If you are requesting an appointment for the SAME DAY: PLEASE telephone the surgery before 12noon.
Your call will be triaged by a Clinician and priority given to clinical need.
On occasion, demand can be very high prior to 12 noon. In order to safely manage our same day services, if your call is not an Acute Medical Healthcare Emergency it maybe necessary to ask you to ring back on an alternative day.
If you are calling after 12:00 noon: Only Acute Medical Healthcare Emergencies will be triaged by a Clinician according to clinical need in the usual way.
Test Results - Patients are asked to call the practice after 2.30pm.
Choose Pharmacy – There is a free and confidential service for NHS advice and treatment without having to make an appointment to see your GP. The pharmacist in the local community pharmacy will give advice and treatment on a range of common ailments.
If you have sustained a Minor Injury - There is a unit in the local community hospital in Brecon.
