Flu Vaccination Campaign 2020 Posted on 18 Aug 2020



  Flu clinics are now available to book from October 2020 for patients who are eligible for a vaccination.

 Please contact the practice to make an appointment.  

 Please see below for confirmation of who is eligible for a vaccination.

 Pts aged 65 and over

  • Patients aged six months and under 65 in the following clinical risk groups
    • Chronic respiratory disease
      • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD)
      • Asthma requiring regular inhaled steroids
    • Chronic heart disease, kidney stage 3,4 & 5 or liver disease
    • Diabetes
    • Morbidly Obese adults with a Body Mass index  (BMI 40+)
    • Chronic neurological condition (ie stoke)
    • Lowered immunity due to disease such as cancer or treatment with steroid/immune suppressing medication
    • Frontline healthcare workers & carers
    • Pregnant women
    • Patients with a learning disability
    • Patients living in care homes or other long stay care facilities
    • Children aged 2 to 17 with long term health conditions

      Childrens vaccinations eligibility:   Children aged 2 & 3

      (date of birth after 1st Sept 2016 & before 31st August 2018)

       Children attending school in years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 will receive their vaccine in the school programme.
